زار أمين عمان الكبرى يوسف الشواربة، يرافقه نائبه محمد رسمي القيسي وعدد من مديري الإدارات اليوم الاثنين، نقابة الصحفيين مهنئا المجلس الجديد بانتخابه ومؤكدا دعم الأمانة لدور الإعلام في خدمة قضايا الوطن وتعزيز مسيرة التنمية.
وقال الشواربة خلال لقائه نقيب الصحفيين طارق المومني وأعضاء المجلس، إن النقابات المهنية أمامها تحديات كثيرة ومختلفة، لكنها قادرة على تجاوزها بفضل كوادرها المؤهلة وإمكاناتها الكبيرة، مشيدا بدور نقابة الصحفيين كبيت للسلطة الرابعة، وعين الدولة والشعب.
وأضاف، "نعتز بالأقلام الحرة التي تنطق بالوطنية وتلتزم الحياد ونهنئكم باسم مجلس أمانة عمان وأهالي العاصمة ولدينا الكثير لنحققه معاً من أجل مستقبل مشرق للمهنة وبما يضمن أداء رسالتها على أكمل وجه".
من جهته، أعرب المومني عن اعتزازه بالعلاقة التي تربط النقابة بأمانة عمان الكبرى، مشيدا بدور الأمانة في خدمة أهالي العاصمة.
وقال، إن "علاقتنا مع الأمانة قائمة على الشراكة والتعاون وهي شراكة ستستمر وتتوسع في المستقبل بما يخدم المهنة والمصلحة الوطنية العليا".
وأكد المومني أن نقابة الصحفيين معنية بالدفاع عن القضايا التي تهم الوطن وتعزز دور الإعلام في خدمة الصالح العام.
