توفي المعلق الرياضي المصري الشهير ميمي الشربيني، الإثنين، بعد معاناة طويلة مع المرض عن عمر ناهز 88 عاما.

وكتب الإعلامي الرياضي أحمد شوبير عبر حسابه على منصة إكس: " ورحل أيقونة التعليق العظيم ميمي الشربيني، إنا لله وإنا إليه راجعون".

كان ميمي الشربيني الذي توفي عن عمر ناهز 88 عاما قد ابتعد عن التعليق الرياضي بسبب معاناته مع المرض في السنوات الأخيرة.

ولد الشربيني في المنصورة بمصر عام 1938 ولعب للنادي المصري البورسعيدي ثم النادي الأهلي.

كما خاض الشربيني فترة تدريب قبل أن يصبح أحد أشهر معلقي الكرة المصرية عبر تاريخها منذ نجاحه في اختبار الإذاعة عام 1976.
