مفوض أممي يدعو إلى الاحترام الكامل لوقف النار بين لبنان وإسرائيل

دعا مفوض الأمم المتحدة السامي لحقوق الإنسان، فولكر تورك، جميع الأطراف إلى "الاحترام الكامل" لاتفاق وقف إطلاق النار بين لبنان وإسرائيل، الذي يصب في مصلحة المدنيين.

جاء ذلك في بيان لتورك نقله المتحدث باسم المفوضية السامية لحقوق الإنسان جيريمي لورانس، خلال مؤتمر صحفي أسبوعي عقده اليوم الجمعة بمكتب الأمم المتحدة في جنيف.

وأشار تورك إلى أن اتفاق وقف إطلاق النار بين إسرائيل ولبنان "كان سببا في راحة ملايين المدنيين" الذين عانوا كثيرا خلال الأشهر الـ 13 الماضية.

كما حث المفوض الأممي "جميع الأطراف إلى الاحترام الكامل لاتفاق وقف إطلاق النار الذي يصب في مصلحة المدنيين"، لافتا إلى أن العديد من النازحين في لبنان ليس لديهم منازل يمكنهم العودة إليها أو العيش فيها.

وشدد على أهمية المساءلة عن الجرائم المرتكبة، وعلى ضرورة التحقيق في الانتهاكات بصورة مستقلة وشاملة في إطار القانون الإنساني الدولي وقانون حقوق الإنسان.
