"فيفا" يعلن إقامة بطولة كأس العرب في قطر في 2025

أعلن الاتحاد الدولي لكرة القدم (فيفا)، الأربعاء، اعتماد بطولة كأس العرب وإقامة 3 نسخ مقبلة منها في قطر بدءا من العام المقبل 2025، بناء على طلب من الاتحاد القطري للعبة.

وقال الاتحاد الدولي في بيان، "بناءً على طلب من الاتحاد القطري لكرة القدم، ستستضيف قطر هذه البطولة أعوام 2025 و2029 و2033، وذلك باعتبارها مسابقة مقامة على أساس الدعوة، إذ لن تكون مدرجة في جدول المباريات الدولية".

وكانت قطر استضافت هذه البطولة في عام 2021، استعدادا لاحتضانها لاحقا لكأس العالم الذي أقيم للمرة الأولى في دولة عربية.

وكان وزير الرياضة القطري الشيخ حمد بن خليفة بن أحمد آل ثاني، قال مطلع العام 2024، أن بطولة كأس العرب لكرة القدم مستمرة وستنظم مجددا لكن "ليس العام الحالي".
