توفي مساء اليوم الجمعة، رئيس نادي الوحدات الأسبق الحاج بهجت محمد شهاب.

وتعرض شهاب لوعكة صحية استمرت على مدار الأسابيع الماضية، قبل أن ينتقل إلى جوار ربه اليوم.

ولد الراحل شهاب عام ١٩٤٩ ولعب كرة القدم مع نادي الوحدات في الاعوام 1971- 1972-1973-1974.وصعد وقتها للدرجة الممتازة.

انتخب رئيساً لنادي الوحدات من عام 1994-1998و أمين سر نادي الوحدات من عام 1998-2000.

حصل نادي الوحدات في عهده على بطولة الدوري لاربع سنوات متتالية 94-95-96-97 وكاس الاردن مرتين 96/97 .
