وصفت وزيرة الدولة للشؤون القانونية وفاء بني مصطفى مشروع قانون حقوق الطفل بأنه يراعي الخصوصية الاردنية.

وقالت مداخلة بني مصطفى اثناء نقاش مجلس النواب لمشروع قانون حقوق الطفل إن الاردن سجّل تحفظه على ثلاث مواد من مواد الاتفاقية الدولية لحقوق الطفل مشيرة تحديدا الى المادة المتعلقة بتغيير الدين والتبني.
