قلد رئيس هيئة الاركان المشتركة اللواء الركن الطيار يوسف الحنيطي، العميد الركن القطري شافي ال شافي وسام الاستحقاق العسكري من الدرجة الثانية تقديرا لجهوده في تعزيز العلاقات المشتركة بين البلدين الشقيقين.

وكانت صدرت الإرادة الملكية السامية بالموافقة على منح العميد الركن شافي محمد سعود آل شافي الملحق العسكري القطري لدى المملكة الاردنية الهاشمية وسام الاستحقاق العسكري من الدرجة الثانية، نظراً لجهوده في تعزيز العلاقات العسكرية بين دولة قطر الشقيقة والمملكة الاردنية الهاشمية.

وحضر حفل التكريم السفير القطري في الاردن الشيخ سعود ال ثاني والملحق العسكري مبارك النصر.
