تأهل الإسباني رافائيل نادال، الخميس، إلى دور الثمانية (ربع النهائي) لبطولة بكين الدولية للتنس.

وتغلب نادال على الفرنسي أدريان مانارينو ضمن منافسات الدور الثاني للبطولة بشوطين دون رد، بواقع 6-1 و7-6.

وضمن الدور ذاته، فاز البلغاري غريغور ديميتروف على الفرنسي لوكاس بويل بشوطين لشوط، بواقع 7-6 و6-7 و6-4.

وتأجلت مباراتان ضمن الدور الثاني إلى موعد لم يتحدد بعد، جراء سقوط الأمطار بغزارة، وهما مباراة التونسي مالك الجزيري مع الكرواتي ميلوش راونيتش، والفرنسي ريشارد غاسكيه مع الإسباني بابلو كارينو بوستا.

وانطلقت فعاليات البطولة في 3 أكتوبر/ تشرين الأول الجاري، على أن تختتم في التاسع من الشهر ذاته، وتبلغ القيمة الإجمالية لجوائز البطولة 4 ملايين و164 ألف دولار.
