فرانكفورت - د ب ا - أعلن الاتحاد الألماني لكرة القدم أمس أن رئيسه ثيو تسفانتسيجر سيتنحي عن منصبه في آذار 2012، أي قبل الموعد المحدد سلفا بسبعة أشهر.
وقال تسفانتسيجر في بيان اتحاد الكرة الألماني، أن قرار التنحي المبكر عن منصبه يصب في مصلحة اتحاد الكرة أكثر منه مصلحته.
وجرى اتخاذ القرار بعد اجتماع جمع بين تسفانتسيجر ورؤساء الاتحادات الاقليمية.
ورغم ان الولاية الحالية لتسفانتسيجر تنتهي في عام 2013، الا انه قرر في وقت سابق ان يبكر موعد تخليه عن منصبه الى تشرين أول 2012 قبل أن يقرر أمس التنحي في مارس القادم.
وبات فولفجانج نيرسباخ هو المرشح لتولي منصب اتحاد الكرة الألماني، وسيتم انتخابه خلال جلسة خاصة لأعضاء اتحاد الكرة في الثاني من آذار بفرانكفورت.
